Meet Timaka

In 1999, Timaka James-Jones was appointed and elected as the first female African-American Justice Court Judge of Humphreys County, Mississippi. In 2003, she was elected as the first female African-American Circuit Court Clerk and County Registrar in Humphreys County, Mississippi.
